Managing Collections Effort Led by Client IT Staff


Our client needed to collect data for an IP matter from a range of locations in Asia Pacific, Canada, Eastern Europe, and several locations in the United States.

Trained IT staff were available at each location, but none had the experience to carry out the requested collections.

Control Discovery developed schedules, requirements, and protocols for headquarters IT staff that they then used to train field staff at each location and manage the overall effort.

Over the extended collections timeline, we served as an escalation contact to help resolve technical collections issues, worked with client management to gain the cooperation of reluctant custodians, and provided weekly progress reports.

A total of 900GB of responsive information was collected by the client and subsequently processed by Control Discovery.
