Tailoring Inhouse Data Reduction for DOD Contractor

The general counsel for the client, a DOD contractor, was concerned that email and documents not relevant to the matter needed to be filtered by internal IT staff before being released to Control Discovery for processing.

Control Discovery worked with IT staff members to replicate our data reduction technology at the client's site, develop software templates and documentation to ensure procedural consistency, and extensively trained IT staff in the proper usage of the methods and software tools involved.

CDI served as advisor to the project and helped the client successfully filter out several hundred gigabytes of sensitive and irrelevant email and documents for a dozen custodians.
